As promised, here is the song for the Roman numerals:

Every Friday spellings will be uploaded to this blog so that you can support your child in learning them for a test the following Friday. They will be practising them in school, but any extra practise at will undoubtedly help them. A MyMaths task will also be set which will consolidate the work we have done in class.

Geography – keeping safe during an earthquake
Watch this video to find out how people stay safe during an
earthquake.
Create a safety poster to illustrate how to stay safe during
an earthquake.
Keep it simple. Choose the important points from the video to
include in your poster: a poster needs to get
the message across as succinctly as possible. Don't put too much information on
the poster, as more information
means fewer people will read it all. Photographs or symbols are a great way of
conveying your safety message
without having to write it out.
Below are some examples of safety posters. Some are more
effective than others at getting the information across clearly; think about
what makes an effective poster and try to include these elements in your
design.
