English

Continuing our 'making sentences of three' writing game:

Today we are going to try sentences of three for action.

Example: She ran down the lane, turned the corner and giggled.

How would you classify the underlined words? These are the three words that describe the action, so you need THREE VERBS in your sentence!

Your turn ... write a sentence of three for action about a policeman.

Finally, we are going to write a sentence of three to make a point.

Example: A new supermarket would bring jobs to the town, provide a focal point for shoppers and ease local car parking problems.

Your turn ... write a sentence of three to make a point for keeping healthy (think about yesterday's PSHCE session).
