Morning everyone! 😊
English
Today, we are going to enter the independent writing stage of our Talk for Writing unit -
'A Finding story'. Remember, this is the stage where you are given the opportunity to write your very own finding story - giving you the chance to 'show off' all the things you have learned during this unit.
- Watch this short video of me reminding you how we plan a story.
- Now, have a go at planning your very own finding story using this boxed-up grid - remember you do not write lots in each box but make sure you are clear about what's going to happen in each section.
- Also remember that, whilst this is the independent writing stage, you MUST NOT forget all the things we have worked so hard to learn and that our model texts can still help us with the structure of our story, as well as offering things we may choose to magpie.
Please find a copy of the texts and toolkit below:

Computing
Today, we are going to start our computing unit looking at keeping safe whilst using the internet. In this unit, we are going to focus on understanding the choices we have when using technology and how we can ensure that the content we find is safe and true.
- Have a look at this PowerPoint about spam emails and email safety.
- Now, using the knowledge you have learned, have a go at answering these questions.
- Check your answers.
R.E
We are continuing our topic:
If God is everywhere, why go to a place of worship?
Today, we're going to learn about the Jewish place of worship (a synagogue) and the main features and items that are important for Jews.
- Watch this video of a Jewish girl introducing her synagogue.
- Now, have a look this PowerPoint which examines the inside of a synagogue more closely.
- Design your own stained glass window - remember to include some of the images and symbols that are important to Jewish people (the menorah, the tree of life or the Star of David) and a sentence explaining what your window shows.
