- Today we are continuing our new topic, Instructions.
- It's really important that instructions are clear, organised and easy to follow.
- Here are some of the technical vocabulary words we will come across in this unit:
- imperative verb
- time adverbial
- rhetorical question
- parenthesis
- bullet point
Do you know what any of these terms mean? Write them down and put a tick next to the ones you have heard of. If you think you can, write a definition for each one. We will discuss each word as we come across it in the model text, so don't worry if your definition is not correct at this stage.
Computing
If you have managed to save an audio file onto a device, today please go into the file and edit it. This could be by lengthening it, shortening it, adding music or sounds. Then save it again. Once you are happy with it, can you write a paragraph evaluating your podcast, what you enjoyed, which parts were difficult, how you would do it differently next time etc.
